In James's words

My passion for horses and the equine industry began when I enrolled in a Bachelor of Equine Science at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. It was during this time that I was introduced to equine chiropractic, sparking an interest that would ultimately shape my professional career.

Inspired by the potential of chiropractic care to support equine health, movement and performance, I transferred to Macquarie University to pursue a career in chiropractic.

After completing my Master of Chiropractic, I spent the next ten years practising as a human chiropractor, developing my clinical knowledge, hands-on skills and understanding of musculoskeletal health and biomechanics.

Despite building a rewarding career in human chiropractic, my passion for horses never faded. Determined to combine my professional experience with my love of the equine industry, I returned to study and completed a Graduate Diploma in Animal Biomechanical Medicine.

This journey has allowed me to fulfil a long-held ambition of working with horses, bringing together my chiropractic experience and passion for equine health and performance.

Through Saddle Side Equine Chiropractic, I look forward to providing professional, individualised care to horses throughout the greater Hunter Valley, with a focus on supporting comfort, mobility, function and performance.
